Frequently Asked Questions
What is Companion Ridge Kennels?
Currently, Companion Ridge Kennels is a holistic canine wellness resource. In the future, this site will also serve as the home for my Poodle breeding program.
How soon will you be breeding dogs?
There is no expected timeline, as it takes quite a bit of capital and time to purchase responsibility bred dogs and do health testing on them. It will also take more than a year from the time they are brought home to be able to be used for breeding. Currently, we are in the saving process to be able to purchase a setup that will suit our needs and invest in the first couple dogs.
Since this may be another question people may have - I will be breeding miniature Poodles. However, I am open to breeding standard Poodles in the future.
Do you offer personalized advice or consultations?
Not at this time. My guides and blog posts are meant to be educational resources. For specific health or behavioral concerns, I always recommend working with a trusted holistic veterinarian.
What makes your approach different?
My focus is on raising awareness for alternative, non-conventional ways of caring for our dogs that leads toward true health. My approach is holistic and integrative, while viewing the dogs as individuals.
I utilize different modalities for dogs in my care including - Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM or TCVM), Herbal Therapy, Energy Work, and more.
Feel free to check out the rest of my site where I go into more detail about these modalities.
Do you have a return policy on your guides?
Because my guides are downloaded digital products, all sales are final. However, if you experience any technical issues, please reach out and I’ll be more than happy to help.
Will you breed Doodles?
At the moment, there are no plans to breed Doodles. I have nothing against Doodles, but my passion lies with Poodles. I believe they meet everything I’m looking for with a breeding dog; versatile, intelligent, loving, non-shedding, and, most importantly, they are a fairly healthy breed (relative to other common breeds).
